Definition and Usage
The isId property returns true if an attribute is known to be of type ID
(e.g. contains an identifier for its owner element), otherwise it returns
false.
Syntax
Example
The following code fragment loads "books.xml"
into xmlDoc using
loadXMLDoc() and returns whether the category attribute is an ID
attribute of the <book> element:
xmlDoc=loadXMLDoc("books.xml");
x=xmlDoc.getElementsByTagName('book');
for(i=0;i<x.length;i++)
{
document.write(x.item(i).attributes[0].isId);
document.write("<br />");
}
