In 1998, our company - Refsnes Data - made a very controversial decision. We
decided to quit our current jobs and start an Internet
Developers Portal.
When we created W3Schools, we wanted it to be completely free, and we are
doing our best to keep it that way.
The costs of running this site and the costs of writing the tutorials are
covered by sponsors, but we will always try to keep the number of advertisements
as low as possible.
Help Us Correct Errors and Broken Links
We are working very hard to make this Web site interesting, useful, and correct. If
you find an error or a broken link please tell us about
it.
Tell us about spelling mistakes and grammatical errors (it is not easy to be a
Norwegian in an English-speaking world).
To notify us about errors, please send an e-mail to:
Please don't contact us for personal help.
Solving your individual coding problems is not our priority. We believe that
we should use all our time to write more and better tutorials for our viewers.

Learn how your website performs under various load conditions
WAPT
is a load, stress and performance testing tool for websites and web-based applications.
In contrast to "800-pound gorilla" load testing tools, it is designed to minimize the learning
curve and give you an ability to create a heavy load from a regular workstation.
WAPT is able to generate up to 3000 simultaneously acting virtual users using standard hardware configuration.
Virtual users in each profile are fully customizable. Basic and NTLM authentication methods are supported.
Graphs and reports are shown in real-time at different levels of detail, thus helping to manage the testing process.
W3Schools is for training only. We do not warrant the correctness of its content.
The risk from using it lies entirely with the user.
