Definition and Usage

The <s> and <strike> tags defines strikethrough text. Not supported in HTML 5. Use CSS instead.

Differences Between HTML 4.01 and HTML 5

The <s> and <strike> elements were deprecated in HTML 4.01, and are no longer supported in HTML 5.
