CSS outline-width Property

CSS Reference Complete CSS Reference

Definition

An outline is a line that is drawn around elements, outside the border edge, to make the element "stand out". The outline-width property sets the width of the outlines.

Note: Always declare the outline-style property before the outline-width property. An element must have an outline before you change the width of it.

Note: Outlines do not take up space, and they do not have to be rectangular.
